Do you have what it takes to be Big Dog Salad?
Many philosophers have pondered this question, but none have ever found an answer. Possibly because no one knows what Big Dog Salad actually means? Not even those that founded it. Or do we? We’ll never tell. Why?
*AHEM* One thing is for sure, Big Dog Salad are coming to Darwin Festival for the first time and you don’t want to miss out! Since 2021, they have returned to stages across the country time and time again to bombard audiences with pizza, pirates and puns!
It’s 100% pure silly goodness!

Adelaide Fringe Festival 2023
In 2023, Big Dog Salad brought their first ever sketch show back to the world for the Adelaide Fringe!
Big Dog Salad LIVE is the definitive Big Dog Salad show - an hysterical hour of fast-paced comedy with some great sketches!
Thank you to the Adelaide Fringe Artist Fund, the Donor’s Circle and everyone at Adelaide Fringe for making this appearance possible! Especially Shakti, Lynton, The Garage International, and Crack Kitchen!
Big Dog Salad is a team of six creatives (Iona Francis, Jack Macmillan, Kostantine Hatzivalsamis, Michael van Berkel, Pip O'Shea, and Sean Guy) based in Darwin, working together to bring content to the world. Our focus is on surreal sketch comedies such as happy ghosts, interdimensional pizza thieves, calendars with weekends sold separately, and Men in Bins. We also sometimes do a podcast, and sell-out live performances, and make short films for international film festivals.
