2026, return to Tower City...
Art by Beth O'Shea (aka @cordialdraws)
What does it mean to be born special?
When the patriarch of world-famous themed pub “Buckingham’s Chalice” dies, a power struggle begins. Should one of his kids inherit leadership by virtue of their birthright? Will the manager still make all the actual decisions? And if the family’s role in the franchise is mostly just symbolic (though very good for tourism), does it even matter?
A sly satire of the monarchy and its place in the 21st century, for a cynical modern age.
Cast: 8
Roles: 4 male, 4 female (1 of the females is a minor, stage age 17)
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Genre: satire / comedy
