Which is more ethical – to be a murderer, to be a billionaire, or to murder a billionaire?

When an armed gunman takes a bank hostage and orders the occupants to turn over their CEO, the patrons and staff of the bank are confused. The CEO has not visited this branch in decades, since he was a junior teller!

Moments later, when the occupants discover the ultra-wealthy CEO is hiding in plain sight (filming an episode of "Undercover Executive"), they must decide whether to hand him over and save themselves, or protect a man they don't even really like... all while a washed-up reality TV producer does her best to capture the entire thing on camera and win a Logie.

Hostages is a comedy about facing the super wealthy. It is inspired by the fact that Australian banks are among the most profitable in the world, while also indirectly referencing the shooting of healthcare CEO executives in America.
